Are Inefficiencies Causing Your Balance Sheet to Tilt?
Richard Miller, EVP and Ron Jennings, EVP, John M. Floyd & Associates

Like many credit unions, you’ve probably made substantial budget cuts the past few years to overcome reduced income generation. But are inefficient procedures and staffing levels, along with higher non-interest expenses creating unnecessary stress on your budget?

Join Richard Miller and Ron Jennings as they discuss how re-evaluating your organizational structure, branch profitability, and workload distribution can lead to a more productive, cost-effective organization. Together we'll review how to ensure that your products and services match the needs of consumers in your market, as well as provide tips on maximizing your member relationships.

Legal Aspects of Credit Union Mergers
Robert Rutkowski, Esquire

Attorney Robert Rutkowski will walk attendees through the legal process behind credit union mergers, for both federally chartered and Pennsylvania State chartered credit unions. As a veteran of many credit union mergers, Rutkowski will offer pointers on due diligence, as well as tips on how to salvage a merger that is falling apart. Additionally, he will cover the NCUA's Purchase and Assumption mechanism regarding how to acquire another credit union's assets in liquidation. Whether you want to dive in-depth about the merger process or simply pick up some casual tips, this session has something for everyone.

Enterprise Strategies for IT Risk Management and Growth
Randy Romes, Principal, Information Security – Financial Institutions, CliftonLarsonAllen LLP

Advances in mobile technology, cloud computing, and social media present opportunities to grow with our members. The challenge of managing that growth in the face of rapid technology change can be daunting. In this session, we will explore how credit unions are benefiting from mobile technology, cloud computing, and a progressively tech savvy membership. Participants will leave with practical, enterprise-level strategies for managing the risks related to these opportunities in a manner that allows for growth and service enhancement.

Shift Happens: Transitioning to a Sales Culture in an Operational Environment
Julie Ferguson, JRF Consulting Services

Building a culture where every employee thinks about how their interactions affect the member and the credit union’s bottom line sounds easy, but we know differently. Change is hard. Some of your staff are already great order takers, fulfilling your members’ needs effectively...when asked. Join Ferguson for a discussion about ways your credit union can create a culture that expects engagement at a new level; turning reactive into proactive.

Registration is $695. Spouses and guests may register for $139, and they are invited to attend Sunday's Welcome Reception and breakfast each morning of the conference.
